Last week, Sony’s new PlayStation 4 Slim was leaked on the internet ahead of its official release. The console was supposed to be announced on September 7th, during the company’s PlayStation Meeting in the PlayStation Theatre, Time Square, New York.
Apparently, the console was available for auction at Gumtree, which was later bought by a Twitter user shortmaneighty2 who also posted some pictures of the new PlayStation 4 Slim. As per the new details shared by the user, it appears that the new console supports wireless band of 5 GHz, which is something new as compared with the standard PlayStation 4 with the support of 2.4 GHz. He also shared a picture of the manual that says “The frequencies used by the wireless networking feature of this product are the 2.4GHz/5GHz ranges,”
He also shared a screenshot of the console’s connection status that shows the WiFi frequency band in use of 2.4 GHz, which is used by the user shortman. He shared the image from his twitter account while replying to one of his followers.
