Previously, we heard information regarding the progress on PlayStation 3 Emulator and how much it is able to play some of the PS3 titles on the PC.

It seems that the emulator is going strong as a few more PlayStation 3 titles are now playable by the emulator RPCS3 at 4K resolution. The games are being played without any significant graphical glitch, while showing constant 30 fps at 4K resolution, with Vulkan API enabled.

YouTuber ‘JohnGodGames Emus’ recently published the videos of PS3 titles Armored Core V, Afro Samurai, Clash of the Titans, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 and Haze being played by the emulator. Afro Samurai and Haze appears to be running great without any glitches with the graphics.

While the gameplay video showed some issues with the graphics and audio of Armored Core V and Clash of the Titans, but the overall gameplay appears to be normal, and may get fixed in the coming months. Have a look at the gameplay videos published by the user below;

From past few months, we have heard a some new PlayStation 3 games being played on PC with the RPCS3 emulator. PS3 exclusive Gestalt also made its way to the PC with the help of this emulator and now a few more games also joined the camp as emulator seems to be growing strong with new improvements and features, such as 4K resolution support.

Red Dead Redemption, one of the biggest games of all time which was not released for PC was also playable on the platform, with the help of RPCS3.
