We know that Bluehole is working on Xbox One and Xbox One X ports of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The announcement was made during Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference but not much information was shared.

However, it seems that the port is under testing phase since the studio has started sharing word related to the Xbox One X port of the game. Game creator Brendan Greene had an interview with the Eurogamer related to the game’s port where he claimed that Xbox One X port of the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is running at frames around 30 to 40 on 100 player servers.

We have a version running on the Xbox One X prototype in the office which can plug into the online servers. We were playing on live servers on the console at about 30 or 40 FPS. So it works on 100 man servers.

It must be noted that this is the first time we heard developers talking about the game’s frame rates on the upcoming console. It can be said that the game needs more optimization and it might get improved in coming months since the game is playable for PC platform only via early access.

He was asked about the game’s release date for consoles and responded without any particular date or a month, saying that the studio hasn’t decided the release date as of yet.
