PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has the pleasure of being one of the most successful Early Access games in recent years, since its launch on Steam (23 March, 2017), until this very same weekend, the developer of the title, Bluehole has amassed an impressive fortune of over 100 million dollars, which translates into selling more than 4 million copies worldwide. This game is currently on Steam for 29.99 euros with “mostly positive” reviews.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a Battle Royale-based shooter that is being developed through its feedback with the community. Starting out of nowhere, players have to fight each other to locate weapons and supplies with the sole purpose of being the last survivor. This realistic high voltage game is set on a massive 8 × 8 km island with a level of detail that shows the capabilities of Unreal Engine 4.
Twenty-four percent of these sales took place in the United States, followed closely by China with 19%, with Germany at 6%, followed by Russia at 6%, South Korea at 5.5 %, Japan with 4.3% and the United Kingdom with 4%. These numbers will increase easily, as the popularity of the game is increasing because at E3 2017 developers also announced the launch of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for Xbox One that would arrive this year.
