Phantom Blade Zero is now available for pre-order, and it seems fans are ecstatic about the title.
Although S-Game is skipping a physical release on PlayStation and shipping the game with Denuvo on PC, fans are already lining up in huge numbers to play Phantom Blade Zero on day one. At the time of writing, it has become Steam’s top-selling title.
Why it matters: Black Myth: Wukong went through similar success on the platform, and it seems the Chinese games industry is set to see another successful run with Phantom Blade Zero.
Currently, the game is beating all kinds of games, both new and old. In fact, Phantom Blade Zero has outpaced various free-to-play titles to reach this spot. Even the more recently released Big Walk has fallen behind S-Game’s upcoming action game on the platform.
Because the game has looked more and more impressive with each showing, and the latest trailer features 11 more minutes of thrilling gameplay, S-Game’s title seems to be set ahead of its release.
Given its current position on Steam, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Phantom Blade Zero selling upwards of a million copies or more in a single day.
The good news is that a playable demo may also be on the way for later this month. If this ends up being the case, even more players might be convinced to buy the game after trying it for themselves.
