Epic Games and People Can Fly announce that the Polish studio recovers its identity and now it is independence to return to its original name, the original logo and again led by Sebastian Wojciechowski. The studio has made its acquisition with Epic Games Poland.

The studio will be actively working on developing the new title of Epic Games on Unreal Engine 4, and will also be using the engine in another title even without advertising.

“We have honored to work with this brilliant group of programmers, artists and designers throughout its history states,” said Tim Sweeney, CEO, Epic Games. “First as partners using the Unreal Engine, and then as a study in Epic, and now, once again, as an independent company.”

People Can Fly is known for his work on the Painkiller series, the original port of PC Gears of War, Gears of War: Judgement for Xbox 360, and the cult classic Bulletstorm, owned IP.

Hopefully this newfound freedom allows them to expand to new ideas and be encouraged to develop a continuation of the adventures of the brutal Grayson Hunt, for fans.
