Microsoft announced a PC Compatible Xbox One Controller. The controller is no different than the original Xbox One controller, which is wireless for Xbox One.

PC Compatible Xbox One Controller Announced By Microsoft

The controller will come with a battery so it can be charged and played on Xbox and for use on PC it will have a USB cable. Unfortunately the controller can’t be used wirelessly via Bluetooth on PC for now. The same controller could be used for both, the PC and Xbox.
The same case was with the Xbox 360 controller then it was updated and now it can be used wirelessly on PC as well.
So maybe the same will happen to this controller.

The controller will be compatible with both 32 and 64bit versions of  Windows 7 and Windows 8. The drivers were already released in June.
The price for a newly released controller is $60.
