The first hero to be added in Overwatch will be officially unveiled at Comic-Con 2016 on July 21.

The information comes from the official event website, which announced the completion of the panel “Behind The Scenes of Overwatch’s Newest Hero“, which will be led by creative developer, James Waugh, the assistant director art, Arnold Tsang, and the senior designer, Michael Chu.

Blizzard developers James Waugh (director of story & creative development), Michael Chu (senior designer, Overwatch), and Arnold Tsang (assistant art director, Overwatch) present a behind-the-scenes look into the creative process of developing the art, design, and story for Overwatch’s newest hero. Q&A session moderated by Kim Phan (senior manager, esports).

Blizzard has given some clues about the new character. The hero will use sniper and most probably the hero’s name would be Shadow. Even the official company account on Twitter revealed what may be the weapon of the hero.

Blizzard also announced that this and all new characters will be added to the game for free. The game was released in May 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
