A couple of months ago, the developer Red Barrels announced that the Outlast 2 has been delayed until 2017, due to which most of the horror and survival category fans were disappointed. However, the developer surprised fans by releasing the demo for the Outlast 2 unexpectedly.

Outlast 2 Demo Now Available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Demo for the game for popped up firstly on the European PlayStation Store, while after some time, it was released for the North American market as well for the Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the developers, the demo will be available for download from today, until Tuesday November 1st. After which the demo will be playable, but won’t be available for download.

Outlast 2 is under development by the developer Red Barrels, the same studio who worked on the famous Outlast. Originally, the game was planned for release later this year, but recently it was confirmed that the game’s release has been pushed until sometime in 2017 as they believe in delivering the best performance to their gamers and release a game that can be pushed beyond the limits.

According to the Red Barrels studio, Outlast 2 features new environments, characters and settings, which will be detailed in the coming months. The game is set in the Arizona, and there will not be any asylums, like the previous game. Outlast 2 is planned for release sometime in 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates!
