According to the newly published reports, it appears that the famous graphics processing units manufacturing company, NVIDIA is working on the new mid range level GPU, GeForce GTX 950 SE  or LP.

NVIDIA Rumored To Be Working On GTX 950 SE / 950 LP

According to the report from Videocardz, the GTX 950 SE / 950 LP will be based on Maxwell 2.0 architecture, GM206 chip, frequency above 6500 MHz and memory bandwidth around 104 GB/s. While the rest of the specifications remaining same as the GTX 750 Ti, but will require a single 6-pin connector.

The rumored GTX 950 SE / LP comprises 2GB of GDDR5 memory, memory bus of 128-bit, TDP of 70W is reportedly releasing next month with the price tag between $120-$150. It seems that the company is trying to replace the previous price/performance beast GTX 750 Ti, which was launched back in February 2014. The 750 Ti was the first Maxwell based GPU launched by NVIDIA which brought remarkable power efficiency.

But it was based on GM107 while current Maxwell based GPUs are based on GM206 chip. Last year, the company launched GTX 950 with the price tag of $160 which was acclaimed as a decent 1080p gaming card in lower price. Also, the company is working on Pascal based GPUs based on 16nm FinFET with ‘twice the performance’ than current Maxwell’s 28nm FinFET based technology.
