Today we have the leaked Pascal GP104 and GP106 die. These photos were taken by experienced journalists at GTC 2016 with Jen-Hsun Huang.  From the below leaked pictures of GP100 die we can see that the GPU core has a different layout. Compared with the GM206 (presumably), GP106 has a slightly smaller size, from 170 to 200 square mm (the size of GM206 is 227 sq mm). We can assume that the GPU GP106 will consist of two CPU clusters streaming multiprocessors 5 each, which gives us 1280 CUDA cores. It is expected that Pascal GP106 will debut at Computex 2016 as discrete graphics cards for laptops.

If you believe in the leaked photos, Pascal GP104 Die size has a size of 300 square mm, slightly smaller than Maxwell GM204 – 398 square mm which contains 5.2 billion transistors and serves for the GeForce GTX 980 and GTX 970. Presumably, GP104 will carry 7 billion transistors. Finally, according to the picture of the circuit board, we can see that it will support GDDR5 memory. Also, the memory chips that were pictured alongside GPU are Samsung’s GDDR5 8Gb 8Gbps chips, which were not used for any graphics cards before. The conventional circuit shown above.
