Rumors about Nvidia’s next-Generation Graphics cards are back and today we have some leaked details on Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080, where the latest rumors talk about its performance. As indicated, this new high-end graphics card would be up to 20 percent faster than the company’s current top-of-the-range gaming GPU, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, which would mean being up to 50 percent faster than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080, which is actually the graphics card it replaces.
While the GeForce RTX 3080 would be up to 20 percent faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti could be 40 to 50 percent faster than its predecessor, although this performance could be even higher in certain conditions like RayTracing, where rumors indicate that 2nd Gen hardware tied to real-time ray tracing on hardware level would increase the performance upto 4x times faster.
If this improvement in RayTracing is real, we would be talking that a GeForce RTX 3060 would would offer RayTracing performance similar to that of a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. Rumors also indicate that the GeForce RTX 3080 would arrive with a GA102-200 silicon with 4352 CUDA Cores coupled with 10GB GDDR6X memory configuration and a 320-bit memory interface to move around a bandwidth of 760GB / s.
