We continue with performance leaks of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, this time revealing performance under the OpenCL API in comparison with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti and AMD Radeon R9 Fury X. All these GPUs after 7 performance tests resulting that the GeForce GTX 980 Ti is 12% less powerful compared to the GTX 1080, while the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X stays at 10%.

With these tests, we see that Pascal silicon is not much more powerful if we compare it with Maxwell GM200 or the AMD Fiji, so we follow the trend that tests filtered performance completely differ with the expected performance showcase by the company. The GeForce GTX 1080 highlighted only two performance tests, face detection and Bitcoin mining.
