Earlier this week, the new GeForce GTX 1060 was pictured all over the internet through the folks in the market of Hong Kong. NVIDIA announced the gpu but decided not to reveal the specifications of the new GTX 1060 before, but since a past few weeks, we come across a few speculations regarding the specs of the new graphics card.

And today, official specifications of the GeForce GTX 1060 have been leaked by the Videocardz. The report is based on the leaked slides, according to which the gpu is based on 16nm FinFET, featuring 1280 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR5 memory, 192 GB/s of memory bandwidth, boost clock of 1700 MHz and computer performance of 4.4 teraFLOPs.

The card has a TDP of 120W, will require a single 6-pin connector as well and the report suggests the new GTX 1060 will be around 15% faster in gaming and virtual reality performance and 1.4 times more power efficient than the rival, RX 480. It was also reported that the graphics card will be competing directly against the new AMD RX 480 so it would be priced around $200 (more or less). Also, it is rumored for release on July 7th.
