Today we have the leaked performance results of the GeForce GTX 1060, where the most striking of all is that they have tested popular games like DOOM or Hitman. The credibility of the benchmarks is questionable, because we don’t know the frequencies on which graphics card was running and the version of drivers used. The most remarkable of all is that the Radeon RX 480 performs below expectations against a GeForce GTX 1060.

According to official information from NVIDIA, the graphics card will be 15% more powerful, according to leaked performance results it will be 10% and according to the 3DMark Fire Strike, the Radeon RX 480 wins in all tests.

In terms of specifications the Graphics card will use Pascal GP106 silicon features 1280 CUDA Cores that reach a Base / Turbo frequency of 1709 MHz with 6GB of GDDR5 @ 8.00 GHz memory (finally nothing 3GB) fed by a PCI-Express 6 – pin connector and a TDP of 120W. Remember that the RX 480 Radeon Custom will go on sale on 14 July. So it will be an entertaining battle between the two GPUs.
