As usual, NVIDIA presents its new Game Ready drivers, this time for the Mad Max and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Under the version number 355.82 WHQL, these drivers are designed to squeeze the full potential of the GeForce graphics cards, adding features such as dedicated ambient occlusion and DSR (the system that allows us to easily downsampling) profiles.

Previously Nvidia’s blog announced that its engineers will work with Konami to improve the visuals of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for PC. At the moment they have not revealed the features which will be implemented, but we can assume that it will be more about the Gameworks suite.

“The world of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is going to be 200 times larger than the one explored in Ground Zeroes. Because so much of this game’s action depends on stealth, graphics are a key part of the gameplay. Shadows, light and terrain have to be rendered perfectly. That’s a huge challenge in a game where the hero is free to find his own way from one point to another. Our engineers are signed up to work closely with Konami to get the graphics just right and to add special effects. “

As always, new drivers also add additional new SLI profiles:

  • Gu Jian Qi Tan Online – Added
  • Rocket League – Added
  • World of Tanks – Updated for Windows 10
