Noctua presented NH-L9x65 cooling solution, and thus it is an improved version of the model NH-L9. The new version is larger and more efficient, it will entertain the mini ITX computers.

Noctua NH L9x65

NH-L9x65 is one of the smallest CPU cooler in the product portfolio of Noctua – it uses an aluminum heatsink with four nickel-plated heat pipes. The entire 92-millimeter fan (NF-A9x14 PWM) blows the air, which is one of the relatively quiet fan models (the rotational speed can be adjusted). If necessary, you can replace NH-L9x65 fan with another fan, but the diameter should be 92 mm (thickness 14 or 25 mm).

Cooling is compatible with all popular processors from AMD and Intel – it is worth to note here that performance is limited because it only checks the systems coefficient exceeding 84W TDP.

In addition, its dimensions are so small that it will not interfere with RAM and expansion cards (a list of compatible motherboards can be found here).

  • Heat sink: one horizontal
  • Heatpipes four nickel-plated copper
  • Fan: NF-A9x14 PWM (92 mm)
  • Fan speed: 300 – 2500 RPM
  • Fan performance: 57.5 m 3 / h
  • Fan volume: 23.6 dBA
  • Dimensions: 95 x 95 x 65 mm
  • Weight: 413 grams
  • Compatibility: AM2 (+), AM3 (+), FM1, FM2 (+) 1150/55/56 LGA LGA 2011 / -3

NH-L9x65 is not a cheap deal, because you have to pay 45 euros – about 5 euros higher than the lower model NH-L9.
