No Man’s Sky, a new adventure and explorer game was released last week by Hello Games for PC and PlayStation 4.
No Man’s Sky Xbox One Version Hinted from Steam Files
The game was not confirmed for Xbox One nor the designer Sean Murray decided to comment on the possibility of game’s release on Microsoft’s console. However, it seems that the game will be headed for Xbox One in the near future.
Data miners while surfing through the files of the PC version of No Man’s Sky came across some interesting things. One NeoGaf user named Dragonbane on his thread revealed that the Steam files were extracted, and one line from a file enlists Xbox One along with the PC and PlayStation 4.
No Man’s Sky uses Havok engine for the dynamic, animation and other features, that can allow the developer Hello Games to port the game for Xbox One also. Another factor in the possibility of Xbox One version is that designer Sean Murray during his recent interview hadn’t denied the Xbox One version of the game. During the interview with Daily Star, co-founder of the Hello Games Sean Murray said that he wasn’t sure what to respond with at that time.
The game was released for PlayStation 4 on 9th August while for PC on 12th August. Soon after its release, the game received negative reviews on the most popular digital game store, Steam. However, the game’s director and founder of Hello Games, Sean Murray on his blog update confirmed that the studio is aware of reported issues, bugs and crashes and is working to address them.
