Nintendo’s forthcoming hybrid console, the Nintendo Switch is set for launch in a couple of weeks and the console is now under review by the journalists, so more and more updates regarding the console are awaited.
Recently, some new details regarding the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller have emerged online, thanks to the courtesy of Reddit for highlighting the controller’s battery and charging timings. According to the boxing of the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, the rechargeable controller will last for about 40 hours on a single charge and uses lithium ion battery. Additionally, the controller will be linked up with the USB cable instead of sync buttons.
The boxing advices users to charge the Pro controller with Switch AC Adapter for the first time use. Interestingly, the controller will be automatically connected with the Switch when connected with the TV mode. While 40 hours stand-by appears to be great as compared with the Sony’s DualShock 4 which lasts for about 8 hours and Xbox One controller with around 20 hours.
The Nintendo Switch Pro is an optional controller for the console users other than the standard Joy-Con controller for those who prefer controllers.
