NieR Automata Crosses One Million Copies Sold

At first, the future of the series of NieR Automata was quite in question mainly due to the fact that the original video game, which only reached the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles failed to make a huge impression. Thus, it seems that the current Square Enix title is getting a good number of sales on the platforms of PC and PlayStation 4. However, the developer has not disclosed the figures for each platform.

On the other hand, but related to the game, the creator of NieR Automata, Yoko Taro has shared in a recent interview his opinion about the current video games that are coming to market. In this report, Yoko Taro admits that he is tired of the big blockbuster AAA games.

“I think AAA games are very interesting, but after playing 20 minutes I start to wonder if it will be like this for the next 20 hours, I’m a little tired of that. Yoko Taro commented in an interview.
