Last year, EA DICE released Battlefield 1 which turned out to be a most successful shooter is about to get new DLC content next month during Gamescom event.

During the company’s financial conference call for Q1, CEO Andrew Wilson and CFO Blake Jorgensen discussed the game’s upcoming contents and company’s future titles. According to the CEO, the shooter will be getting new expansion pack during Gamescom event that will add new features and maps to the title.

The upgrade will add new competitive matches and 64 players matches will also be made part of the game. As per the report, this could be “richest Battlefield experience” so far, while the upgrades will be in eSports mode. Apparently, he could be referring towards the upcoming DLC ‘In The Name Of The Tsar’ which was detailed during the E3.

In another news, the company has confirmed that the game keeps growing and enjoying more number of players lately as the game have successfully surpassed 21 million players, achieving a new milestone.

Meanwhile CEO was asked about the company’s future plans related to the upcoming titles, for which he replied that the studio is working on “a dozen new titles” under the Frostbite engine, including the next Battlefield game. He didn’t provide further information retailed to the game but it is being speculated that the game will be set during Vietnam war and will be announced next year, probably during the first half on 2018.

Other games can be FIFA 18, Star Wars Battlefront 2 while the remaining are unknown at the moment and EA plans to surprise us with the announcement. Stay tuned for more updates!
