The company MSI has launched it’s new MSI Radeon R5 230 Graphics Card. It’s featuring passive  cooling and also one of the weakest card from Radeon R200 lineup.

MSI Radeon R5 230 is the rebranded version of Radeon HD 6450, featuring Caicos core with 160 shaders (VLIW architecture 5), as well as 1 GB DDR3 64-bit interface. If we talk about the core frequency its 625 MHz and 1000 MHz for the memory frequency.

The card is based on a circuit board of standard height. Aluminum was used to cool the radiator – thanks to passive solution, this model works so completely silent. Video output includes VGA, DVI-D and HDMI 1.4a. Power consumption is very low only 15Watts, so no need to connect an additional power supply.
