Previously we had reported that MSI will soon launch a new Gaming laptop, namely  MSI GT80 Titan, which will feature Mechanical Keyboard and GTX 980M SLI. This rumor has become true and MSI has finally released 18 inch notebook MSI GT80 Titan.

According to the MSI it is the world’s thinnest 18-inch notebook, the 17% thinner than similar size products, while 22 percent lighter. Its thickness up to 49.1mm, weight is 4.7kg. In addition, MSI GT80 Titan is also the World’s first mechanical keyboard employing Cherry MX Brown switches, provided by Race Core, and freely programmable keys.

Eric Kuo, VP of global sales and marketing at MSI Notebook, commented about the new gaming laptop, saying…

“As the first of its kind, the MSI GT80 Titan takes a step into the future by integrating a proper mechanical keyboard with Cherry switches into the 18-inch mobile gaming beast. Apart from this, the GT80 also features NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M graphics, Intel’s best and latest mobile CPU as well as our usual selection of carefully developed MSI gaming technologies”

Unfortunately, MSI has not announced its specific configuration. But in the light of previous leaked information. MSI GT80 Titan would be powered by IntelCore i7-4980HQ processor  clocked at 2.8GHz, the highest clock frequency 4.0GHz, using two GTX 980M graphics card built SLI, and four SSD up the RIAD 0..

As for the launch date and price, MSI has not announced this and the official home page is also showing one Picture of it. The expected price of  MSI GT80 Titan would be more than $ 3,000.
