Picture and specifications of MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti Lightning were leaked a few days back and now MSI has officially launched this powerful beast with  its price, as expected, will be quite high, $729, but still not much expensive if you look at the GTX TITAN X, which is selling for $999 and there is not doubt in it that GeForce GTX 980 Ti Lightning is faster than Titan X in gaming and also featuring better Overclocking potential in this price tag.


The graphics card uses a customized PCB with a layer 10 with its impressive 12 + 3 phase VRM feeding  (GPU + Memories) which requires three PCI-Express connectors 8 + 8 + 6 pin  power for ensuring a high level of Overclocking, confidence in an even longer cooling system Tri-Frozr as the radiator goes through five copper Heatpipes (3x 8mm thick) while three fans of 100 mm are responsible for removing the heat.

The information in the MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti Lightning is completed with the use of GPU  GM200-310-A1 consists of 2816 CUDA Cores, 176 TMUs and 96 ROPS to a base / turbo frequency 1203/1304 MHz  (vs. 1000/1072 Ref MHz) attached to 6GB of GDDR5 memory which is maintained at  7.10 GHz. The graphics card has voltage measuring points, dual BIOS, the ability to control the speed of each fan individuallyMilitary Class 4 components, and the inclusion of the 3X3 OC Kit allowing triple overvoltage.
