Ever since the release of Fortnite on Nintendo Switch, we have witnessed a severe response from the gamers against Sony by blocking the cross-platform play between Switch and the PS4 console.

Lately, Minecraft got cross-platform play for the Nintendo Switch with all the platforms, except the Sony’s PS4 and a new trailer was also published by Nintendo, showing Xbox and Switch gamers playing Minecraft with the cross-platform play, which appears to be a collaboration between both the companies and hitting back to Sony.

Although both the console makers have a number of games where cross-platform play is enabled (such as Rocket League, Mantis Burn Racing, Fortnite and some others), but releasing a trailer at this time of the year when issue of blocking the PS4 accounts on Nintendo Switch version of Fortnite gained the industry’s attention.

Apart from that, majority of PS4 gamers are not happy with Sony’s decision to block the cross-play with both the console makers. Now this trailer shows the players of both platforms are happy with the feature, while Sony is still living on the other side of the river.

It was also reported by the former chief of Sony’s online division that the company’s attempt to block the cross-platform play is simply because of ‘money’. Sony’s is still not able to give a strong response behind its attempt to block the feature, except the one which it termed as ‘security issue’ back in the year 2017.
