Due to recent growing rumors about the possible launch of Halo 5: Guardians on PC, Microsoft quickly comes to deny the matter officially with a blunt response: No plans to make a port of Halo 5: Guardians for PC / Windows 10 and it will stay exclusive to Xbox One.

Microsoft: There are no plans to port Halo 5: Guardians to PC

The idea of possible PC version was born due to recent rumors generated around, according to previous rumors Miscosoft would drop a bomb announcement at this years E3, thinking the vast majority of players of Halo 5: Guardians. However, the US multinational has made it clear that, Halo 5: Guardians won’t ever be available to PC gamers. “Our approach is to deliver epic Halo experiences designed for PC gamers and Windows 10, such as Halo Wars 2 and the recently announced Halo 5: Forge. There are no plans to port Halo 5: Guardians to PC,” a Microsoft rep told PC Gamer.

The idea of possible announcement was also found after the Microsoft’s announcement to bring Halo 5: Forge Mode to PC, which allow players to create and build maps using 4K precision mouse and keyboard of a desktop PC. All this did raise many other similar chances by Microsoft, which is quite normal considering the future plan of the company to eliminate borders between PC games and Xbox.

Unfortunately, Halo 5: Guardians will not make its appearance on PC, but it is expected that Halo Wars 2 will launch as a “cross-compatible” title for both PC and Xbox.
