Metal Gear series already made his way to the MAC with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance released for PC on January 9,2014 after almost a year when it released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 now it also released for MAC on September 25, 2014.
Yuji Korekado the producer of Konami said “Metal Gear has been a massive global success on myriad platforms and bringing the series to Mac was long overdue. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was a turning point in the series and is the ideal introduction for new Mac players.”
Konami also didn’t just only made Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance for PC, but two more Metal Gear Solid games are coming which are Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain for PC through Steam next year, so there is a possibility that Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain might come for MAC too soon.
Let’s come back to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance which was originally cancelled at first due to the team facing difficulties with the sword play so the executive produced Hideo Kojima ultimately cancelled it. Later in 2011 a solution was found for this when Platinum games took over the project ultimately start again with a new team. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance have had some changes in the game. Kojima Production then handled the game’s plot and Raiden design.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is set four years after the events of Metal gear solid with a new playable character known as Raiden. Raiden is a former child soldier who is turned into a Cyborg, the game lets us use swords.
The game released for Xbox 360 on February 19, 2013, PlayStation 3 on February 21, 2013, PC on January 19, 2014 and MAC for September 25, 2014.
