BioWare announced Mass Effect Andromeda around two years ago but the developing studio never revealed any gameplay trailer for their game yet.

Electronic Arts (EA) during its E3 2016 press conference showed a trailer for the new Mass Effect Andromeda but in a recent interview with the Eurogamer, Aaryon Flynn, Head of BioWare Studio talked about game’s ending, proper gameplay reveal and much more.

Mass Effect Andromeda Will Have No Impact of Mass Effect 3 Ending

Flynn said that the ending of Mass Effect 3 will not change the ending of Mass Effect Andromeda, they want it to be a new story.

“We acknowledged it in the endings of Mass Effect 3 and I think that’s where we want to leave it for now,” Flynn said.

“We want this to be a new story and it would be very hard to say it’s a new story but also that you need to understand how [the past trilogy] ended.”

Regarding game’s reveal, he said;

“There’s definitely more stuff we could have shown or talked about. But now we’re shipping next spring, the time to really blast all that out there is after the other games come out. We’ll be there then to have a great big reveal and release all the details.”

It can be said that the studio head has hinted the gameplay reveal sometime later this year. He also responded to the reactions of fans criticizing the studio taking too long for the development of the game.

“[Development] is healthy. Dragon Age: Origins was six years. Star Wars: The Old Republic was six years. The original Mass Effect was four. Maybe we’re just not the fastest at this!”
