Marvell has always seemed low in the battle of mobile platform, people may not expect some high stuff fro Marvell, but at the MWC 2014 meeting Marwell released a lot of new products and also they come with their First 64-bit Processor”ARMADA Mobile PXA1928″, a single Chip Quad-Core A53, Five-mode baseband. 

Marvell new PXA1928 is the upgraded version of their previous release PXA1088LTE, the new chip is with 4-Cortex-A53 CPU Core clocked at 1.5GHz, Vivante GC5000 is a Graphic Core, the chip is also with unique feature 5 baseband, Support TD / FDD-LTE, HSPA+, EDGE/GSM network and the minimum rate of 150Mbps support LTE category 4. Additionally the Chip also supports Dual-Link, CSFB.

The security features are also included, secure boot, root key protection, widevine level 1 and FIP 204-2 level 3 and 140-3 level safety standards.

The processor can be used with Marvell Avastar 88W8887 wireless chip , support for 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM radio, NFC near field communication, navigation and global positioning chip 88L2000, multi-mode multi-band LTE RF transceiver integrated power management unit, audio encoder, eMMC storage master, Kinoma software, form a complete mobile platform.

PXA1928 will be available in March of this year.
