During GDC 2016, Seth Rogen, the system designer and development head at Hangar 13 studio, made a presentation focused on the living world of Mafia 3 detailing patterns of behavior, activities, reactions and other key aspects of NPCs to create a unique realistic atmosphere.

Mafia 3 – New Gameplay Screenshots From Pre-Alpha Build

Through this presentation in PDF format, Rogen shares his experience during the development of the game and showed some new images of the pre-alpha of the third iteration of the Mafia. Despite its pre-alpha build, the graphics and visuals detail looks absolutely stunning.

Haden Blackman, Chief Creative Director of Hangar 13 studio, the developer behind MAFIA 3 explained:

“The Mafia franchise is known for his sense of immersion time and place, and for a representation of compelling stories about life in organized crime in MAFIA III are introducing players to an unexpected new anti-hero and emblematic city to explore, all within a set of hard for one of the most turbulent years in the history of the US “drama.

Mafia 3 will introduce a new approach in story of Italian mobsters, with a new hero, Lincoln Clay, returning from the Vietnam War to New Orleans in 1968, where he left with nothing, leading him to decide confront the mafia.
