Senior producer of Avalanche Software, John Fuller confirmed that the upcoming Mad Max will be running at Full HD 1080p and 30 fps on both the current gen consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The announcement came during interview with the GamingBolt.
Previously, the game designer Emil Kraftling during the live streaming of the game, which took place on 14th August, said that the game will run “best on PC”. Here’s what he said, “So the game is running at 30 frames per second, and we are running it right now on the PS4 build. Obviously we’re releasing it on the PC and Xbox as well. And for those who are wondering, we are developing the PC build in-house.”
But the people were unaware of game’s resolution on Xbox One whether it will run at 900p or 1080p. Anyhow, the news is confirmed now and it is a good news for console gamers as well. Whereas the PC gamers are free from 30 fps limit. They can even run the game above 1080p and around 60 fps, depending upon the hardware of their system.
“There are no finite limits to the map… in other words, there is no ‘one side’. You can continue driving into The Big Nothing until you get bored or killed.
“Our tech can support enormous worlds but it is always a case of balancing the density of content and travel distances so that the player feels they are in a rich world.”
“The Magnum Opus is used to travel, it is used as a weapon, it is used as shelter and it is a constant reflection of the choices you as the player have made in defining Max’s journey.” said J. Fuller
The Mad Max will be released on September 1, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more.
