Yesterday there had been rumors that Kit Harington, the Lord Commander of Game of Thrones was spotted wearing a MOCAP suit in Activision studio.

Kit Harington will be the villain in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Today the publisher, not only confirmed Kit Harington participation in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, but also revealed that he will be the new villain of Call of Duty: Warfare Infinite. Taylor Kurosaki, narrative director of Infinite Warfare, said:

Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces, and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front. We can’t wait for fans to see Kit play an entirely different kind of character.

Stohl added,

“It meant a lot to us to develop the role into everything it could be. We’re excited about the performance Kit delivered and can’t wait to get it out to the public. We’re committed to delivering a compelling story with rich character depth, and this was a special opportunity to add to our fantastic cast.”

There’s no word yet on any other stars who might be joining Harington for his tour, but one supposes that it’ll be a pretty interesting cast. According to Game Informer, Activision also said that Ritchie, who directed Snatch and The Man From UNCLE is also working with Infinity Ward but the role has not yet been specified.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will launch on 4th November for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
