A fan made multiplayer mod for the Just Cause 3 is finally available on Steam as a free DLC update.

The multiplayer mod for Just Cause 3 was developed by team Nanos, a small team of programmers from Austria, Germany and UK operating from Square Enix. The mod was under development for about 1 year and the mod is still under its last stages of development.

According to the team, the mod includes a couple of multiplayer game modes such as custom races, team death match and much more and has a number of different servers. Below is the note from team Nanos, highlighting the mod features.

Still in its early form, the JC3 Multiplayer Mod provides players access to different servers, each with unique characteristics.


  • Battle, race, chase and play tag with fighter jets with up to hundreds of players per server.

  • Enjoy community created gamemodes, ensuring a constantly evolving play set.

  • Countless hours of fun including racing, deathmatch, skydiving, freeroam, etc.

  • Don’t see the game mode you want? Make one!

  • State-of-the-art synchronisation helps reduce lag to a minimum.

While those players who have skills with CSS, HTML and JavaScript can enjoy the mod by making tweaks to the mod’s limitations, alter the vehicle enhancements and game’s world as well.
