The manufacturer of laptops IVY, based in Stockholm has listed the first notebook in the market with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080m and as expected, it will not be affordable.

This specification is not very different from the others apart from the GPU. In this case the laptop is accompanied by a Core i7-6820HK coupled with 32 GB of RAM DDR4 @ 2133 MHz and Samsung SM951 256GB SSD gives a stanchion price of 20,990 kr, around $2500, and that is the price for its pre-order. It will not be available until July 29. NVIDIA has not officially released GeForce GTX 1080m so now we can assume that NVIDIA will launch it in the next month.

It is expected that the GeForce GTX 1080m is using the same desktop variant GPU and this translates into a GP104-400 silicon consisting of  2560 CUDA Cores160 TMUs and 64 ROPs with 8 GB of GDDR5 memory. Perhaps the only change would be in the frequencies.
