At Apple Special Event 2017, apart from iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus Apple also announced new flagship smartphone “iPhone X”. The device that breaks with the common aesthetics of the iPhone, and that translates into saying goodbye to the bezels and frame, allowing the increase of the screen size, while the size of the device still restrained, although the back is identical to the iPhone 7.

This compact design translates to employ a Super AMOLED panel of 5.8 inches with a resolution of 2436x 1125 pixels  (Super Retina Display / Full HD +) that will be powered through the Apple A11 SoC supported by 3 GB of RAM along with three storage capacities to choose between 64 and 256 GB capacity and as expected, no support for a microSD card.

The photographic section is covered by a 12 + 12-megapixel F / 1.8 dual camera configuration with PDAF autofocus, image stabilizer, quad-flash LED (dual) capable of capturing 4K @ 60 FPS or Slow Motion (1080p @ 240 FPS) and 2x optical zoom. The front camera of 7MP is capable of capturing video at 1080p @ 30 FPS or 720p @ 240 FPS.

It is necessary to emphasize that the device has lost the fingerprint reader, since they have not been able to implement the sensor under the screen to be used by ultrasound, that is why it incorporates FaceID, the scan of the face will be done in 3D thanks to a projector, similar to Kinect, which with 30,000 points recognizes the face, even in the dark, with a failure rate of 1,000,000: 1, compared to 50,000: 1.

The rest of the information on the iPhone X complete with WiFi connectivity 802.11ac, GPS + GLONASS + GALILEO, NFC (Apple Pay), Bluetooth 5.0, the use of iOS 11 operating system, its chassis offers resistance to water and dust thanks to certified IP68 (up to 1.5 meters of water), and comes at a starting price of 1,159 euros for the 64GB model being available in black, silver and gold.
