Intel is going to redesign its desktop platform which will be conveyed in Q3 of 2015 that incorporates the Skylake platform that will highlight new Core i7 and Core i5 processors for consumers and enthusiasts on the Intel 100-series chipset, including the Z170, Z150, Q170, Q150, B150 and H110.

Intel Core i7-6700K ‘Skylake’ is up to 29% faster than Core i7-4790K


The foregin media TechBang has received a sample of Intel Core i7-6700K processor based on the company’s latest “Skylake” micro-architecture. As it shows up, Intel’s expected lead chip for enthusiasts will be up to 29.1% faster than the Intel’s present Core i7-4790K “Devil’s Canyon” Processor.

Intel Core i7-6700K Processor comes with a core clock of 4.0 GHz and 4.2 GHz turbo frequency. This i7 Processor is featuring quad core with hyper threading enabled and features 8 MB of L3 cache, tIntel Core i7-6700K Processor comes with a core clock of 4.0 GHz and 4.2 GHz turbo frequency. This i7 Processor is featuring quad core with hyper threading enabled and features 8 MB of L3 cache, the chip can support DDR4 2133 MHz memory and DDR3L 1600 MHz memory. The processor features the GT2 graphics chip with 48 execution units, clock speeds of 350 MHz base an 1067 MHz boost and full support for DirectX 12 API.

Intel’s next generation 14nm Skylake architecture processors will be officially released on 5th August at Gamescom 2015 show.
