Good news for PC gamers, one more shooter is now available for free on Steam. Team based shooter Insurgency is now available to add on your library permanently.

New World Interactive has decided to offer the multiplayer shooter Insurgency for free, until Wednesday August 15th 10 P.M PDT and those who choose to download the title before the date will be able to keep the game forever. Moreover, the free time period also offer a discount of 10% on the upcoming DLC Insurgency: Sandstorm, which will be released next month.

The DLC was already discounted by the company under the label of pre-order discount and by having the game in your library gets you additional bonus of 10% on the purchase of upcoming DLC. The Insurgency: Sandstorm is now priced at $23.99.

The game was released in 2014 and mostly contains positive reviews on the digital platform Steam. Simply search the game on Steam Store and after going to the official page, tap on “play game” button and you will be asked to install the game from your library. Do this before the free period expires on Wednesday 10 PM PDT.

Although the game enjoys 2,000 to 3,000 concurrent players on monthly basis, but this is pretty good for a small multiplayer game that doesn’t require much of a hardware and is sized around 4.7 GB in total.
