Rumors appearing in recent months have been confirmed about the announcement of Devil May Cry 5 at E3 2018. This time Capcom didn’t  go in the direction of restarting DmC: Devil May Cry and returned to the original series. The game will be a direct continuation of the fourth part, released 10 years ago.

After the events of Devil May Cry 4 many years have passed. Nero lost his demonic hand Devil Bringer and established his own demon bureau in the city of Red Grave City, where he partnered with Nico – she makes different prostheses for him that extend Nero capabilities on the battlefield. It is noted that just in Devil May Cry 5 there will be three playable characters at once. Two are already known – Nero and DanteThe first of them is given the main attention in the trailer and at the end of the trailer you can see aged Dante on a motorcycle.

The development of Devil May Cry 5 is headed by Hideaki Itsuno, responsible for Devil May Cry 3 and Devil May Cry 4. The new part of the series is developed on the RE graphics Engine (same engine was used for Resident Evil 7 Biohazard).

Devil May Cry 5 will go on sale in the spring of 2019 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. More information about the game will be disclosed at Gamescom 2018 in August.
