Recently, HTC has updated the official recommended system requirements of their virtual-reality headset, HTC Vive and also revealed the price and its final release.

HTC Vive Specs, Release date, Price Revealed

The VR headset was announced last year at the GDC where famous video game company Valve partnered with the HTC and announced their VR gaming headset. According to the latest update, the headset will be available for pre-order from 29th February with a price tag of $799.

The price of HTC Vive is higher than the Oculus Rift VR, which starts at $599. The device will be releasing in early April with the headset, two wireless controllers, two small units of motion sensors for tracking your position, a microphone as well.

Moreover, it also includes some new features such as support for iOS and Android smartphones, allowing gamers to answer calls, text messages, and view calendar, without removing the headsets. Those pre-ordering the device, will be getting two free VR games: Job Simulator: The 2050 Archives and Fantastic Contraption
