Announced on June 2 by Crytek UK, the Homefront franchise acquired by DeepSilver in late July after serious financial problems from Crytek side. Since then, there has been no news about the sequel to Homefront though it was announced that Homefront: The Revolution would be in charge of Dambuster studio based in Nottingham, comprising 126 employees, including Hasit Zala, the director of Crytek game UK (previously known as Free Radical Design) along with many employees of the same studio.

Given the skepticism of people, Zala confirmed today that the continuing development of open-world FPS comes into overdrive and it will make its debut during 2016 but not an estimate date was announced.
