Undoubtedly, Halo is the most famous game franchise published by Microsoft studios and honor it 15th anniversary, Microsoft will be celebrating the event next week on Tuesday, November 15th at 3:43 PM PT.
The news was confirmed by the official site of 343 Industries, which mentioned that the studio will be celebrating the Halo 15th anniversary by hosting a live stream and much more on Tuesday. November 15th marks the fifteenth anniversary of the first Halo game, the Halo: Combat Evolved which was released back in 2001.
A teaser was also revealed by the studio that showcased memories from previous games in the series, but didn’t reveal anything except the anniversary live stream schedule. Check out the teaser below;

“The studio is working on a number of cool things to help celebrate this huge milestone which also happens to coincide with the 15th anniversary of Xbox itself,”
“What kind of birthday party would it be without goodie bags for attendees!? I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but I think you’ll dig it,”
It also teased the studio’s plans for Halo 5 additional contents affirming more DLCs are incoming.
“Plans are being made for some big holiday playlist updates as well as the release of the next big Halo 5 content update. I know you’re eager for those juicy details and we look forward to being able to share more soon.”
Moreover, 343 Industries is working on Halo Wars 2, next installment in the Halo franchise scheduled for release in February 2017 for PC and Xbox One. Previously, executive director of the game, David Nicholson confirmed that the development of Halo Wars 2 for both the platforms is going smooth, without some serious hurdles (which some of the developers actually face).
