Console gamers will now be able to create and download their choice of GTA V mod after a new game update. Before this, the PC gaming community was the only one to enjoy this facility. The news was broken, indirectly by Rockstar in a recent announcement.

Rockstar’s blog post states that,

“… the upcoming launch of the Rockstar Editor for PS4 and Xbox One as the next update to Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online means the next Rockstar Editor Contest will be the first one with entries across all three platforms – so the creative competition will be fiercer than ever. Stay tuned for info about that contest and forthcoming update.”

No specific date was mentioned about the availability of the new GTA V update, but it seems that the update may come next month. The console gamers will be able to enjoy the experience of modding the GTA V into another level. Modding related to cars, character, guns and more.

It is said that the console version of modding will be limited to a certain level, as compared with the PC version. Where it was reported that the players were able to mod GTA Online, although this is strictly disliked by the Rockstar and some player were banned from playing by the Rockstar because of messing with the GTA Online. Lets see how things go in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more!
