Alas! PC game you’ll be getting Grand Theft Auto V in March. Rockstar has postponed Grand Theft auto V till 24th March. This is very wierd even after reaffirming release date, now Rockstar have delayed it. There are many questions why? Probably due to optimization. Let us figure it out.

Grand Theft Auto V Is Delayed For PC Yet Again:

“Our apologies for the slight shift in the date, but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be,” Rockstar cites on their newswire. “Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March.”

So I was right. The fact is the game was not ready optimization was not good, graphics were downgraded as per few early batch of screenshots and reports with which we updated you. On few forums it was given that an i5 4670 and GTX 970 you can yield a 45-50FPS with all the visual settings cranked to max except Anti-Aliasing, which seems quite demanding. So it is crystal clear now that the root of the delay is optimization. They don’t want to offer gamers a game with downgraded visuals such as, Watch Dogs.

Rockstar also have unveiled official system requirement for GTA V which reckons a GTX 660 is enough for recommended settings.
