Although the Grand Theft Auto 5 was first landed on Sony PS3 and Xbox 360, but it seems like both previous-Gen consoles will not be able to entertain players with the update of this game for a long time. Obviously the current-generation version will leave them behind at some point, not only in terms of graphics quality leap, sales will greatly increase in the future when the game will equip with some exclusive updates! Rockstar recently said that after some future point in time, some of the game update files at a technical level will only possible for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC platform.

Rockstar recently hosted the latest “Rockstar Newswire Q&A” campaign where someone asked about Grand Theft Auto 5 that the game has launched for next-generation console, does it mean to play the old-generation console version of the player liable to cold. Rockstar replied “absolutely not“, and pointed out that the recent major updates, including Best Practice “Heists robbery” and new Christmas-themed precisely will support cross-platform.

They explained:

“We are incredibly thankful to our original generation of GTAV and GTA Online players on those systems and wish to continue providing content to them for as long as we can. Of course, at some point in the future, there may be a point where we reach the limits for the previous generation of consoles as there may be some updates that are only technically possible on the new hardware – but we do hope to continue delivering as many updates as we can for all four consoles for as long as possible”.
