It looks like 3dfx Interactive, one of the flagship GPU makers back in days is ready for comeback to the graphics business 20 years after exiting the business. A new Twitter account, reportedly run by the company has tweeted that the company is making a comeback and is making a major announcement on Thursday next week.

Now the question is if the company is really back, and if it is, we do not know what product they are going to launch, if we are talking about a graphics product that can compete with AMD, Nvidia or Intel, or who knows if it will focus on the graphics market of mobile devices.
It should be remembered that 20 years ago the company went bankrupt and it was Nvidia itself that acquired all the intellectual property of the company for 70 million dollars in 2002.
