During the PC Gaming Show 2020 event, Gearbox Software presented the first gameplay preview of GODFALL, a new third-person fantasy looter-slasher developed by the Counterplay Games studio, focused on hand-to-hand combat, which can be played alone or in cooperative mode.

The new video gives us a glimpse into the world of Aperion, weapon classes, a selection of Valorplates armor, as well as the quick melee combat you can expect to enjoy in this souls-like.

In Godfall, Aperion is on the precipice of ruin. You are the last of the Valorian knights, god-like warriors capable of wearing Valorplates, sets of legendary armor that transform possessors into invincible masters of close combat. Players will take down their enemies as they take over some of the major kingdoms and challenge the mad god Macros waiting for you at the top.

Players will be able to master five weapon classes, unlock various Valorplates throughout the game, level up and learn new skills, and choose to fight solo or together with friends in three-player online cooperative PvE gameplay.

GODFALL will launch for PC via the Epic Games Store and PlayStation 5 in late 2020.
