The development team of RPCS3, the flagship emulator of Playstation 3 for the PC has released a new video comparing the performance improvements that have been achieved in God of War 3 with its latest version.

All this was happened due to the Nekotekina contributions made during the month of December. Games like God of War 3, Sly Cooper Thieves in Time and WipEout, among others, previously broke when using SPU LLVM when the slow “Accurate Xfloat” setting was disabled have been fixed by approximating xfloat. This resulted in a great performance improvement in many games.

While God of War 3 still can not reach or maintain the 30 stable FPS (and still need to solve graphics glitches), the development team is very close to approaching that goal, so that the game will be playable with RPCS3 very soon.
