Gigabyte quietly reveals its own version of AMD’s Radeon R9 Fury GPU. Like the flagship Gigabyte cards, this one is an overclocked version that is featuring the company’s triple-fan cooling solution, though with a much greater heat sink and a backplate.

The WindForce triple-fan cooling solution offers air to a GPU clocked at 1010 MHz, and can be pumped further with Gigabyte’s incorporated OC Guru II software. The 4Gb of Graphics card is having three display ports, one HDMI, and one DVI-I connector.

The coolest piece of the card however is the metal backplate on the back of the PCB.

At the top point of the card you’ll see two 8-pin power connector ports. Gigabyte recommends a 600 watt PSU to run this overclocked version.

The firm is generally late in joining the party, AMD-specialist Sapphire and market leader Asus already have their variants of the Radeon R9 Fury out for quite some time. It is likely that this choice was made while remembering the demand, furthermore possibly in light of the fact that this is a custom-designed PCB that does not take any inspiration from AMD’s stock reference design board.

The price of the Radeon R9 Fury WindForce 3X OC has not been uncovered yet, we anticipate that the card will be accessible in the market with a price tag of around $550.
