Gigabyte is not slowing down and presented another GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card – this time its GeForce GTX 1070 Xtreme Gaming.

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Xtreme Gaming: Fastest 1070 in the Market

Gigabyte GeForce 1070 GTX Xtreme Gaming

GeForce GTX 1070 Xtreme Gaming equipped with the same cooler used in recently launched GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming, but the main difference is of course components, because the Pascal GP104 fused on GeForce GTX 1070 has 1920 stream processors with 120 TMUs and 64 ROPs at a base / turbo 1695/1898 MHz frequencies (Vs 1506/1683 MHz in reference) with 8 GB of GDDR5 memory @ 8382 MHz  (vs 8008 MHz in reference) connected to a memory interface of 256-bits and powered by two 8 + 6 pin PCI-Express connectors.

GeForce GTX 1070 Xtreme Gaming will support high dose of Overclocking due to the use of the WindForce 3X cooling system, consisting of two radiators traversed by four copper Heatpipes and cooled by three 100mm fans positioned strategically to dissipate heat efficiently. The center fan rotate in a reverse direction to maximize dissipation. Just below the radiator that is positioned above the GPU, we have a large copper plate that also helps cool the memory of the graphics.

The information on Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Xtreme Gaming is completed with the use of the Spectrum RGB LED lighting system. The GPU also incorporates aluminum backplate that helps to reinforce the structure and slightly lower temperatures. For display output we have five options in form of DVI, HDMI 2.0 and three DisplayPort 1.3, which can be output to the front of the housing and thus don’t bother with connecting goggles VR (VR panel link is added only in Xtreme Gaming Premium Pack). Its price would be around 530 euros.
