After Inno3D and EVGA now Gigabyte is another manufacturer that introduced new GeForce GTX 960 graphics cards with a double dose of video memory capacity – in this case both are two copyright designs.

Gigabyte: two GeForce GTX 960 with 4 GB of memory

This refers to the models of the GeForce GTX 960 OC 4GB and GeForce GTX 960 4GB Gaming G1. In both cases, applied Maxwell GM206 graphics processor with 1024 CUDA cores and 4 GB of memory GDDR5 128-bit. Frequencies of both cards are different – OC version works with less, and G1 Gaming with tighter raised clocks.

For cooling solutions for the OC they used Windforce 2X cooler, which consists of a massive heat sink, several copper heatpipes and two fans. On the reverse there is a backplate.

Gaming G1 model is equipped with more powerful cooling Windforce 3X. This design consists of a sizable number of Heatpipe with three fans. Here too, on the reverse there is a backplate..

Both cards have the same set of video outputs – DVI-D, DVI-I, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 3x. OC version brings additional power supply 6- and 8-pin and versions of the G1 Gaming with two 6-pin connector.
